As I see it .... If you don’t know it, listen closely - Ted Thompson, General Manager ( GM ) of the Green Bay Packers, is to blame for Brett Favre’s retirement.  Brett Favre, the best quarterback the Green Bay Packers have ever had and the best quarterback the NFL - National Football League - has ever seen, did not really want to retire. The Green Bay Packers organization forced the best ever quarterback Brett Favre to retire. Ted Thompson didn’t want him back.
